Shopping in Manarola at Cinque Terre

In addition to Tuscany I also love Cinque Terre, an enchanting area in Liguria. So today I'm talking abut one of its beautiful villages.

Manarola

Manarola is a small village in the municipality of Riomaggiore, and its probably one of the most renowned and oldest villages in the area. The colorful tower-houses and the narrow streets make it unique, as well as the Church of San Lorenzo with its big rosone window dating back to 1338.

The village is a typical fishermen town famous also for its wine, called Schiacchetrà. Another important attraction is the Love trail, or Via dell'Amore, that connects Manarola to Riomaggiore and offers incredible views over the Cinque Terre.

Bottega dell'Artigiano

In Manarola there is a nice shop that you should visit. It's called La Bottega dell'Artigiano and it has been featured on several guides for pottery shopping. Yes, there you can find Ceramiche Mori pottery realized with unique designs for the shop. Of course the shop sells only Italian handmade, high quality products including beautiful paintings of Cinque Terre.

This is the perfect shop for your souvenirs from Italy! And don't forget to keep in touch on Facebook!
